The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) was established on 1 December 2003 in an effort to produce science and technology experts in various critical areas, with the objective of making Malaysia a developing and progressive Islamic State. Therefore, FST provides opportunities for SPM (O’ Level) students from Religious School Schools and Pre-University Centers to further their studies in science and technology as well as fardu ain. This opportunity leads to a paradigm shift among Muslims in Malaysia. This shows that the inclusion of children to Religious School Schools does not restrict them from taking courses other than religious courses.
